SEA TURTLE EARLY LEARNING CENTER INFORMATION
Seaside Schools Consortium, Inc. has a preschool for ages 3 through 5. Sea Turtle Preschool is an early childhood program that nurtures and protects childhood in a beautiful setting. The rhythm of the school day flows between lively outside play with inside artistic and practical activities. We infuse our day with teachings from Little Acorns Curriculum, play-based learning, and instilling preschool independence.
Sea Turtle Preschool teaches the whole child: Head, Heart, Hands.
Our 3-and 4-year-old full-day programs, from 8:30am to 3:30pm, are child-centered and inspired by public Waldorf principles. Our credentialed teachers receive training in developmentally and culturally appropriate practices, including early childhood training through LifeWays North America.
We currently offer a limited space VPK-only program from 8:30am to 11:30am; the state funded VPK program provides 3 hours per day of instruction and requires an eligibility certificate from the Duval County Early Learning Coalition. The VPK-only program does not come with options for before or after care.
