The Seaside Difference

Picture
Our teachers follow traditional Waldorf topics within the Florida Standards framework, with a  focus on nursery rhymes, fairy tales and other traditional songs, stories, and literature in kindergarten; folk tales, fables and legends in first and second grades; and a focus on hero stories and myths in upper grades.  The units integrate other content areas such as math and science and social studies in real-world activities such as building structures or growing class gardens that support environmental stewardship.
